@WhistlerBlckcmb hosted the 2011 #WhistlerTweetUp on Friday at the GLC. Again @UnofficialWhis was invited to a super fun event that hyped the already awesome winter season here in Whistler. Drinks and finger food were ample and the crowd was lovin’ it. @UnofficialWhis and everyone around got their nerd on here as @MikeDSki rattled off questions that could be answered via tweet for sought after prizes, and the tweets popped up live on a monitor.
The MarioKart cobwebs needed to be dusted off to have any chance in these cyber-races, and still @UnofficialWhis went home empty handed and sore from exhaustive tweeting. There are some fast fingers out there we learned (@BradenD). In the end though, the first Tweet Up that Unofficial Whistler attended was a success as any Twitter-based gathering is certain to be.
