Kelly Slater does win his 11th ASP World Tour Championship in San Francisco, CA today. After being declared champ on Nov. 2nd, then having it taken away, he now legitimately has the win.
Kelly won his heat at 12:30pm today at Ocean Beach and was declared Champion of the surfing world. In the press box, Kelly joked about winning his 11th for the second time in 3 days. Even stating the his old buddy and bitter rival, Andy Irons (who passed away last year at age 32), may have been messing with Kelly from the other world.
