So, you didn’t get a Burning Man ticket. Bummer. But fear not, although there will be significantly less naked hippies in Jackson this weekend compared to Burning Man, there’s still plenty to do. From country music to ridiculous sales, there’s something for just about everybody. It’s gonna be a busy weekend, so hopefully you’re not too hungover from disco night at the Stagecoach.

What’s Good Here Productions brings you the Jalan Crossland Band at the Tavern on Friday night. The country band will be sure to get the place rocking. Plus, since summer is almost over there wont be (that many) drunk southerners.

JACKSON HOLE MOUNTAIN RESORT LABOR DAY SALE; ALL WEEKEND

That first breath of cool air have you itching for winter? Well, Labor Day Weekend is a good time to take advantage of closeout sales throughout the shops at Teton Village. Score big deals on last years gear, as shops try to make room for incoming product. While you’re out there, spin some laps in the bike park, which shifts to weekend-only operation after monday.

If you’ve never caught a Hootenany out at Dornan’s, you’re missing out. Lucky for you, the classic weekly event is relocating to the farmer’s market this Saturday morning. Check out the some folk music performed by local legends at this invitation only event.

HEART 6 RANCH COOKOUT; SATURDAY 5PM-$15 ADULTS, $10 KIDS

Enjoy an old fashion country cookout at the Heart 6 Guest Ranch locatated just out of town. Chow down on an assortment of grillables as you take in views of the Tetons. Plus, you get to listen to the music stylings of Judd Grossman & Band.

ABIGAIL WASHBURN, CENTER FOR THE ARTS; TUESDAY 5:30PM- FREE

Although technically not the weekend, this free concert might be the highlight of the next week. The banjo-picking Washburn is world renowned for her music stylings and has been covered in Newsweek, The New York Times, and the BBC. Plus, it’s FREE, so you have that going for you, which is nice.
