It's Fourth of July Weekend- perhaps the best weekend of the year. The party feel of New Years, without the pressure and the hype. The weekend where it's totally acceptable to crack a beer at 10AM, as long as it's an American Flag Budweiser can. Nearly every meal is barbecued and good times are plentiful. What exactly you do in Jackson this weekend depends on your music taste, party attitude, and budget. What the HELL to do in Jackson this weekend? | Unofficial Networks

It’s Fourth of July Weekend- perhaps the best weekend of the year. The party feel of New Years, without the pressure and the hype. The weekend where it’s totally acceptable to crack a beer at 10AM, as long as it’s an American Flag Budweiser can. Nearly every meal is barbecued and good times are plentiful. WIDESPREAD PANIC, GRAND TARGHEE RESORT, JULY 1-3 6PM DOORS/7PM SHOW; $41

If crunchy, jammy tunes are your thing, look no further than Grand Targhee this weekend. Widepread Panic, perhaps the crunchiest of the crunchy, descend on the mountain resort for three nights this weekend. You might not have a better backdrop to listen to the tunes, so maybe really take it in and get the three-night pass for $99.

KINETIX , TOWNS SQUARE TAVERN JULY 1, 10PM;

Couldn’t make it to Panic or just want to get warmed up? Check out jammy, Denver based Kinetix. There tunes are eclectic and fun, and will be sure to get the (drunk) crowd at the Tavern going.

GRAND TETON MUSIC FESTIVAL BLACK, WHITE, AND GOLD ANNIVERSARY GALA, TETON VILLAGE COMMONS, JULY 2, 6:30PM

Widespread Panic a little too rowdy? Check out the more sophisticated and civilized Black, White and Gold Gala. Classic composers will provide a perfect atmosphere for the beautiful Teton Village backdrop.

BUSTER BLUE, TOWNS SQUARE TAVERN JULY 3, 10PM;

Reno-based Buster Blue plays a variety of Americana/Folk. The mix of accordion, banjo and horns give the group a distinctive sound that’s sure to rock the tavern.

HOWDY PARDNERS’ FOURTH OF JULY PARADE, JULY 4, 10;30AM

What would the Fourth be without a Parade? Check out the American pastime of walking/driving extremely slowly down a main street and waving. A great way to show your support for a variety of local entities, as well as do some A+ people watching.

FIREWORKS!! JULY 3-4 (TETON VILLAGE), JULY 4 (SNOWKING), 10PM

What Fourth of July weekend would be complete without some explosions. If you’re in the Teton Village vivacity, you can catch the show both the 3rd and 4th. If you’re in town, you can check them out on the Fourth- just look toward Snowking.
