Park Silly Market

Summer is is full swing and there is more to do in SLC that you can shake a stick at. From the Bees games to Farmers Markets things are really heating up in the Salt Lake. The Summer Concert Series does not even start until July 14th. Once those start downtown will be popping ever Thursday night. It makes our little burg almost feel like a real city! Here is what the deal is for this week:

June 12th, 2011: Big Head Todd and the Monsters & Toots and the Maytals @ Red Butte Gardens at 7:00pm

Big Head Todd has been touring for about forever. Formed back in 1986 this band has been everywhere and back. Toots has also been playing since the invention on electricity and has put on loads of good shows in SLC during my time here.

June 13th, 2011 – Salt Lake Bees vs. Sacramento River Cats @ Spring Mobil Park @ 7:05pm

Bees Game

The Bees and the Cats are going to slug it out agin this Monday night. I am thinking a hog dog and a spot out in the grass beyond the outfield would be a great way to spend a Monday evening.
