Squaw Valley lost an incredible skier and friend today. Kip Garre passed away this week on Split Mountain in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California along with his girlfriend Alison Kreutzen.
Kip was a phenomenal skier and accomplished mountaineer as well as a guide for Points North Heli in Cordova, Alaska.
Kip will be sorely missed.
