Gregory’s Targhee Backpack did not win the Outside Magazine Gear of the Year award for 2009/2010 because it sucks. It won that prestigious award because it is a well built pack with some dope features and it is just the right size for a daypack. Oh yeah, it also comes in some pretty rad colors too.
The Targhee also works great as a summer daypack. If you are hiking or just riding your bike around town you can fit everything you need for a day of fun. I like how the water bladder holder doubles as a laptop sleeve. The only downside to the Targhee is the flimsy easy to break zipper handles. I have broken 3 in two years. It is nothing a little duct tape can’t fix though. I recommend a buy and hold strategy.
