Josh Anderson @ Snowbird – Photos of the Week

Squaw Valley skier and photographer Josh Anderson was in Snowbird this week for the World Freeskiing Championships. He took these amazing shots during Day One on Silver Fox and at the Ryan Hawks Memorial on Hidden Peak a few evenings back.

Chopo Diaz spun this dope corked out three off this bush transfer gap at the bottom of his run. He scored north of 43 points and was in second place at the end of the day.

Cam Doane also got spinny with things on the Fox. Cam represented his peeps back East well this week and made the finals in his first try at Snowbird. Congrats Cam!

Ben Paciotti got upside down on the money booter Friday. Ben also scored well over the magical 40 point line. Nice work Ben.

This good looking guy in orange skied well, but not well enough on the Fox. He ended up under the bubble by .27 and did not get to play on North Baldy. Unfortunately, this guy is me.

Parker Cook Marker’d out after greasing a really cool line out of North Chute. I was bummed for Parker but he was still smiling after this big multi-tomahawk fiasco.

The Memorial for Ryan Hawks was beautiful on Thursday evening. Ryan’s dad Peter came to Utah to attend this event and the comp. Thank you Peter for coming out to show support to Ryan’s other family.

Chuck Mumford AKA “Buck Manford” showing you how to apres a comp run. Congrats to Chuck for making the finals. Things didn’t work out for Chuck on Baldy but his van still loves him.
