Alf Engen and his brothers were ripping lines at Alta before most of our parents were even born. How nice must that have been? Being the only guy that could ski deep pow and having all of Alta completely to yourself. I am jealous of Mr. Engen and grateful for his contributions to skiing technique that makes skiing what it is today. When you watch this guy charging it you think, damn that guys is really good. Then you think about how he is on wooden skis with leather boots and it it becomes even more impressive. Thanks to Nat for shooting this my way to share with everyone. Rip it up!
