Today was ANOTHER seriously good day skiing the trees here in Telluride! Not that other stuff wasn’t skiing good as well, it’s just the trees here are so much fun. The day began waking up to snow hammering down in town and a surprise 8″ fresh up on the mountain. There was a great vibe when I got up to chair 9 and everyone was having a blast. The snow was deep everywhere with a pretty small crowd to enjoy it early. There were definitely less people than I thought there were going to be. Most people were probably not expecting the awesomeness of the storm and were sleeping in!

After a sweet run through the trees off 9, we just had to dip into Reggae again. Its been skiing so good recently and is hard to not ski it on a pow day. We were not disappointed with deep lines, fresh pillows and some fun drops. Such awesome stuff back there, Reggae is the S#%T! After getting back up to the top, Prospect Bowl had opened so we headed out to ski off chair 14. There was a decent crowd at the bottom of the lift, but the skiing was still really good. Electra trees were pretty sweet and some of the drops in Stonehenge are starting to fill in enough to take big. We are finally starting to build up that base!

It snowed all through the day and still is coming down as I am writing this. A good sign for the rest of the week and hopefully the season. We may be finally getting into a good snow cycle, sure would be nice!

Skiers: Jared Vincent, Brian Horton
