I’m very happy to say that the Tahoe area now has its’ own snowboard magazine, called Tahoe Snowboard Magazine. Most publications are based out of SoCal, and Tahoe’s talent, in the areas of photography, snowboarding, as well as the shear beauty of the area, is often overlooked. With Tawnya Shultz as the founder/editor in chief and I.J. Valenzuela as the photo editor/managing editor, this is sure to be a solid publication. The publication will focus on all things Tahoe: our rich snowboarding history, athletes, resorts, backcountry, and future. There will be one issue printed per year and regular online content published at Tahoesnowboardmag.com (The site will be up soon). The first issue is free, and can be found at snowboard shops around the area. Check it out!
