Today was COLD! Felt like skiing back in Vermont. I still don’t have feeling in a few toes writing this. The single digit temps definitely kept people indoors today, offering deep snow all day to those who braved the elements. I think most people decided to wait till next year and drank at the bar instead. Not really a bad idea I guess!

Despite the cold, the skiing was really great today! After some awesome morning runs through the trees off 14, we hit up Revelation when they “dropped the rope” and got first chair up 15, which was nice! The snow was really fast and creamy back there and people were bombing! We definitely saw some pretty gnarly crashes! After dropping the cornice and maching to the bottom three or four times, we decided to head back into the woods and get away from the weather a bit. The snow was still really amazing and there were untouched lines everywhere. Today was a great end to 2010 and I can’t wait till next year! It should be another quiet day out there….
