The Line of the Week will be a weekly photo piece by Ryan Salm featuring some of Tahoe’s finest skiers skiing whatever we deem rad. We will be using the term “Line” loosely to describe anything resembling chutes, big airs, pointers or any general madness.
Boney Lines- What else is there right now?
“With freezing temperatures turning to rain, Emerald Bay Chutes began falling apart. Luckily, a lone ice fall remained in tacked to catch my eye unveiling a skinny chute to the west. After skinning up a sketchy slab of granite with the threat of clinging icicles from above, I feel more safe on top of this boney chute. Skiing through tight chokes and over bony chunks of granite the line spits me out, straight into a blossoming rainbow of snow in the middle of Emerald Bay”.
