Unofficial Jackson Hole

Guess this guy forgot to factor in the lack of wind resistance without clothes.  Looks like a a painful crash even with the added protection of outerwear.  This clip comes from longer video put out by a rowdy crew.  They are bringing riding back to the days of the Whisky movies, where riding is just something to do between drinks.

Allow myself to introduce…myself.  I’m Andrew Whiteford, and I’m proud to be joining Matt Annetts and Griffin Post at Unofficial Jackson.

I’m excited about the opportunity to add some more stoke to the site. I’ll be putting together videos, photos, and heart warming stories that will leave you softly nodding and staring off into the distance. 

Of course, you may already know of me from others posting my stuff up here.  Now I get to steal their thunder with my own posts, and you can help boost my ego to levels unseen on the web. Speaking of which,

A Look Back: Tahoe has been a rough go for the past 37 days. A rough go. It wouldn’t have been so rough had other places in the Big 4 (ie Tahoe, Jackson, Utah, and Whistler) been getting nailed. Quite a few people have seen Jackson from on the slopes, but not many people get to experience the beauty from this angle.  Cade Palmer is one of the top paraglide pilots in town and put together this edit of what is happening in Jackson airspace.  All the pilots in this video fly tandems for Jackson Hole Paragliding, but still find time to get out and have some fun on their own.

Jackson finally started feeling like spring yesterday.  With warm temps and the sun shining, it was a great day to get outside and celebrate the Mexicans taking down the French.  Unfortunately, the heat did take away most of the mid winter snow conditions that have been sticking around.  Hopefully this weather will continue so the town can make a quick transition for all wonderful summer activities Jackson has to offer.
