The first turns of the ski season are a blend of anticipation and ecstasy. As winter’s icy grip descends upon the mountains, skiers and snowboarders eagerly await the moment when they can carve down a hill. The excitement builds as the first cold nights make for frosty mornings. Then comes the moment when you link your first turns. It’s a feeling of freedom, of joy, and of embracing the sheer beauty of winter. Those first turns mark the beginning of a season you hope is filled with adventure, challenge, and the pure delight of gliding down the slopes.

For skier Wesley Poe that moment has come. Wesley put down what has to be some of the first turns of the 2023/24 ski season on the road the leads to the summit of Mount Washington in New York’s Adirondack Mountains.

Way to get after it Wesley!
