Today is national Up-Cycle Day and to celebrate we want to highlight a company in Southern California that takes old snowboards that would end up landfills and gives them a new life by transforming them into skateboards. Alegre Boards got its start in garage where the founder was staring at a old snowboard collecting dust in the rafter and thought “free your board and your mind will follow.” What started as fun experiment has grown into a full blown business and the product is sweet.
