Back in June, it was reported that a severed foot had been discovered in the Eldora Mountain Resort’s parking lot.
It was initially believed that the foot might have belonged to a missing resort employee. Ryder Johnson was last seen leaving Eldora on January 17th and has been missing ever since.
Today, the Daily Camera reports the remains have been identified as Ervin Mettler. Mettler, 83, had been camping near Eldora Mountain Resort. The cause and manner of his death is still unclear.
