While heated seats and bubble bars are the new norm for swanky ski resorts across the globe, the Swiss are bringing Mission Impossible technology to one chairlift in Klosters.

The new chairlift will cost the Swiss $11.5 million USD!

According to InTheSnow.com, Madrisa Ski Resort near Davos, Switzerland is in the process of completing the state of the art “Schaffürggli” chairlift, which will use lasers to adjust the height of the chair depending on skier height. The new technology will identify whether passengers are adults or children and either lower or raise the chair accordingly using a hydraulic mechanism. The chair will also sport heated seats and automatic bubbles that lower during stormy weather.
