Every night, a fleet of snowcats head up Ajax to do their nightly duty of creating seamless corduroy for the skiing public. However, now a single lucky snowcat driver will take two VIP guests on a tour of their nightly duties. That’s right, two guests at The Little Nell hotel in Aspen will now be able to ride with a snowcat driver during their nightly work hours for a $100.
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, guests will board the Prinoth “Bison 350” snowcat at approximately 5:30pm and ride along as the driver wields his behemoth paintbrush across the slopes of Aspen Mountain.

It might sound like something only the rich would find interesting but deep within every ski bum lies a desire to ride around the hill late at night as gapers lay asleep in the valley below, their dreams filled with the bluebird piste runs they saw in a brochure.
But first, you have to shell out the cash to stay at Aspen’s glamorous Little Nell Hotel before you can even contemplate forking over the C-note to ride the snowcat up the hill. The offer is currently exclusive to Little Nell guests and a single room at the hotel in mid-January is $1,000+/night.
