Mr White

Shaun White has announced that he has formed a rock band named Bad Things. The band is expected to release its debut album later this year on Warner Bros. Records. We guess that Shaun figured that he was already living the rock star life (Shaun White Arrested For Public Intoxication) so he mine as well have a band to back it up.

White, a professional snowboarder and skateboarder, has been friends with drummer Lena Zawaideh and guitarist Anthony Sanudo for years, since they all grew up together in North County San Diego. They added frontman Davis LeDuke and bassist Jared Palomar earlier this year to round out the group.

The new band has been signed to Warner Bros. Records and plans to put out their debut album later this year. The album is being produced by Rob Schnapf, who has previously worked with artists like Beck, Elliot Smith and The Vines. Bad Things is currently streaming the first offering from the album, a track called “Caught Inside.” The band is also going on tour in July and August, with stops in several northern U.S. cities and Canada. – mxdwn.com
