Mineral Basin
Mineral Basin
Thineral Basin.

Mineral Basin is now open and there is a ton of wind hammered pow to scrape around on in there if you are into it.  The Mellow Middle is looking pretty bare and the Jib Line is a no go until more snow falls from the sky. If we get some next week like the forecasters are saying it would be a good start. Remember, it is going to take more than one dump to cover up the early season gnar.

The landings are looking rough in Mineral

The snow overall at Snowbird is getting a little bit thinner every day. There is still a ton of fast chalk out there on Silver Fox and Great Scott if you are willing to take some light to moderate damage to your sticks. You can get your adrenaline fix by pointing it down Rock Chute or by charging thru the bush jumps in Pucker Brush. I have been having fun the last couple days by charging around with friends and taking some chances. Unfortunately, Snowbird bro Nate Blouin went down with a blown knee yesterday and will be out for the season. Sorry buddy, but that is how the game goes sometimes…
