As Whistler Mountain opened it became apparent that nobody now occupied the status of being Embedded anywhere on the mountain. Preparations for opening day had ended, however Unofficial Whistler took it upon themselves to dig in and report from the top of the mountain. After being Embedded in the Peak ski patrol hut for over 7 minutes, the dedication and hard work of day 3 skiers and boarders had been captured and documented by the entrenched Unofficial Whistlerite. Some turns ultimately were coaxed from tired legs after multiple hikes to the Peak and overall this Embedded experience was both taxing and revealing. Mountain rats revealed and legs taxed.
