Ice, sand, slop, and shenanigans.  All in the same lap?  Yep, all those things happened today, plus more than a few backflips.  Waking up to rain is never an uplifting thing, but today at Squaw rain parlayed into glorious slop.  That is, just before nuclear winter rolled in and commenced nuking snain.

The scence at the top of KT...a bit wintery!

The best skiing was to be found in the trees between West Face and Chute 75, but essentially the entire bottom 3/4ths of KT was skiing great…a welcome break from the sticky slop of yesterday.  Things are currently continuing to stack up, with big soft flakes falling from the sky.  Get out them powder boards, tomorrow is lining up to be a grand one!

The lineup:

This Afternoon: Snow. High near 38. Very windy, with a south wind around 50 mph, with gusts as high as 70 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.
