Placer County Sheriff’s officials say a 67-year-old man died while skiing at Northstar Ski Resort over the weekend. Deputy Coroner’s on scene determined this to be an apparent accidental ski death.
Marc L. Coleman was found unresponsive on the ski slopes of Northstar just before 11 a.m. on Sunday. The 67-year-old Van Nuys resident was pronounced dead after being flown by CareFlight to Renown Regional Medical center.
The incident is under investigation and is pending an autopsy. There has been no official word on what type of ski accident took the life of Mr. Coleman.
