Cheers to Cardrona Ski Resort who celebrated another epic season of Southern Hemisphere shredding with a final weekend of operations in New Zealand.
Its always a bittersweet day when your local hill shuts down for the season but folks at Cardrona have plenty to look forward to when it opens back up in 2025. New Zealand’s biggest ski resort is getting even bigger with the addition of 150 hectares of skiable terrain in the Soho Basin. The new terrain will serviced by a new 6-seater detachable Doppelmayr chairlift which will be installed over summer and ready to spin for winter 2025.
