Mountain biking in the Dolomites.
Mountain biking in the Dolomites.

Mountain biker Kilion Bron spent 17 days shooting insane downhill lines in the Dolomites. Each line required an intense amount of athleticism and focus to get down and nearly 3,280 feet of elevation gain to get the top. The result is this short yet unbelievable 2 minute clip of riding serious “no fall zone” lines.

“Reaching over 9,000 feet tall + spanning 125+ miles, this stretch of the Italian Alps boasts steep cliffs, rocky terrain + challenging mountain bike conditions. Lucky for us, that’s Kilian’s perfect biking playground. Speed downhill with the MTB legend as he navigates the cliff edges + rugged mountain range.”

If you want to see what it looks like to actually film in this place rather than seeing a several week journey condensed into just a bit more than two minutes, Kilion Bron released a 50 minute long video covering the entire trip. Released with COMMENCAL Bikes & Skis, the documentary shows the spirit of the Dolomites through Bron’s travels.

In his new film DOLOMITES, Kilian Bron opens a new chapter, giving us his vision of mountain biking from the inside. More than a series of jaw-dropping images, DOLOMITES is about discovering a unique place in the world through the eyes of Kilian, his crew and the people they meet along the way. It’s both a human and sporting adventure where the stakes are high, and there’s no room for error.
