Nearly two weeks ago, I was in Colorado for a short weekend skiing trip. I got to visit Winter Park, Arapahoe Basin, and Copper Mountain during my time there and got to experience some excellent skiing conditions. My first night spent was in the town of Winter Park, where I chose to stay at Gravity Haus.
Gravity Haus is an up-and-coming hotel brand, with properties situated in multiple mountain towns like Vail, Breckenridge, Steamboat, Truckee, Aspen, and Winter Park. The goal of Gravity Haus is to become a hotel brand for outdoorsy people that want to become part of a like-minded community.
There are a lot of things that I liked about the bedroom I got to stay in. There are bathrobes, yoga mats, local foods/drinks, and other features that you don’t typically see in the average hotel room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom area was spacious, and there was a large TV.
One of my favorite features of the hotel was having two outdoor hot tubs. Other cool amenities included a workout space that has daily classes, a lively bar and cafe that’s open throughout the day, a trampoline that’s open during the summer, and an extensive workspace. Pets are also allowed on the property, so you can bring your furry friends to stay with you.
For those who live nearby or are frequent travelers, Gravity Haus has membership options that allow outdoorsy people to be close to the action without having to deal with that infamous I-70 traffic. Members get 50% off nightly rates on Weekdays, 50% off pet fees, 25% off their dining options, and much more.
When I checked out, it wasn’t that far of a drive to Winter Park. It’s only around five minutes to reach it by car, or you can take public transit. If you’re in Winter Park, you should definitely consider staying here.
