The future of Gunstock Mountain Resort is in serious jeopardy. The New Hampshire ski resort announced that it is closed for summer operations until further notice. According to the Laconia Daily Sun, this came after the entire management team at Gunstock resigned last night due to the continued condescending nature of the members of the New Hampshire state government that they report to.

The members of Gunstock’s management team work for the Gunstock Area Commission, which are voted in by state legislators from Belknap County. The commission has become increasingly partisan, with the goal of having a private company run the ski area, in spite of locals wanting it to remain county-run and non-partisan.  Click here to learn more about the ongoing crisis at Gunstock. We will be giving more information about this developing story in the near future as more details about the situation continue to trickle out.
