POWDER WATCH ISSUED FOR SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND SUNDAY NIGHT-TUESDAY

Latest models show light snow in New England likely this afternoon (3-5) for many ski areas. Sharp cold front slides down from the north on Sunday and combines with a very moist warm front moving up the Mid Atlantic Coast. Areas of interior PA will see snowfall late on Sunday. New England stands a good chance of moderate snowfall late Sunday evening through Monday as cold air filters into the region. The heaviest snow will be found from southern Vermont, New Hampshire, and Coastal Maine. Snow could linger into Tuesday further up the Coast of Maine.
