Climber who survived 2,000 ft. fall speaks out

Ryan Montoya, 23, is recovering in a Denver hospital after falling nearly 2,000ft down Pyramid Peak near Aspen. Denver 7 sat down for an interview with the climber that lived through a fall that doctors would not expect a person to survive from.

Ryan is happy to have survived the ordeal which left him stranded in the snowy backcountry for two days with a broken elbow and a broken pelvis. He also suffered severe frostbite.
