Tragic news out of Maine. On Wednesday 35-year-old Benjamin Taylor passed away in a ski accident at Sunday River ski resort. It is being reported that Taylor was found at the bottom of Black Hole, an expert trail on Aurora Peak at about 11 a.m. It is believed that Taylor died of a head injury after skiing into a grouping of trees.

Taylor, who was wearing a helmet, was found unresponsive and treated by the ski patrol. He was pronounced dead a short time later by ambulance personnel.

This was the fifth death on New England slopes since the beginning of the year.
