Sad news for California pond skim lovers, as Mammoth Mountain has been forced to cancel their 2026 Pond Skim at the Canyon Lodge.
“Despite our best efforts, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Pond Skim at Canyon Lodge. There still is plenty of season left, over 100 trails still open, and a packed events schedule through April.” – Mammoth Mountain
The rest of the schedule is still full of events before the end of the season, including quite a few left in April alone. Canyon Lodge is set to wrap up the season on April 19th, with the wrap part for Canyon Lodge Après being hosted on April 10th and 11th. Once operations wrap up at Canyon, all lift access moves to Main Lodge for the rest of the ski season.
Every Friday and Saturday through April 25th will feature Honky Tonk on The Hill, and Party in The Park is set to go down on April 25th. Additionally, April 25th will now host the @b4bc Love Your Peaks event.
