UTAH — A dismal Utah ski season just got an early April reprieve with a much needed snowstorm and folks in the Beehive State are shredding cold powder today.
7 of Utah’s 15 resorts are still open and it looks like Brighton ended up being the big winner clocking a 29 inch storm total (37 inches in the last 7 days). Brighton is clearly fired up about it and encouraging folks to “get up here and ride this miracle snow this weekend.”
Solitude, Alta and Snowbird also got a fair bit of snow and we couldn’t be happier for all the skiers and snowboarders who will get to enjoy it. Alta even had a rare thundersnow event to go along with their epic spring conditions:.
Nothing quite like fresh snow and tons of daylight.

Here’s a quick rundown of projected closing dates for Utah’s ski resorts. Remember to confirm these before heading out the door as they are subject to change.
