While Indy is (likely) losing a few notable names from the Midwest, they’ve gained some new ones in the region.

Today, Indy Pass announced 10 new partners for the 2026-27 season, bringing its 2026-27 total to at least 286 skiing operations. In the Midwest, this includes Whitecap Mountains Resort, Camp 10, Paul Bunyan, and Coffee Mill. This follows the announcement of sixteen new partners revealed in February, which included Levi in Finland and Pebble Creek in Idaho. More partners will be announced this fall.

The news comes amid reports of the likely departure of Lutsen Mountains, Granite Peak, and Snowriver Mountain Resort from Indy to Ikon, a move that drew mixed reactions from the skiing and riding community.

Also notable is the announcement of their first heli-skiing partner, North Cascade Heli, which will include discounts for Indy Passholders.

Indy’s official press release is below. Erik Mogensen also released a letter today detailing the 2026-27 pass, which you can read here.

INDY ANNOUNCES TEN ADDITIONAL NEW RESORTS WITH FIVE IN THE MIDWEST. 26/27 PUBLIC PASS SALE BEGINS FRIDAY, APRIL 3.

Indy Pass expects a remarkably short public sale period following record-breaking sales from returning passholders and the waitlist.

JACKSON, NEW HAMPSHIRE – Indy Pass has announced that 26/27 passes will go on sale to the public for a single day on Friday, April 3, and only for as long as supplies last. Over the next 72 hours, people who signed up on the waitlist will have their final opportunity to purchase before all remaining inventory is released to the public at noon Eastern on Friday, April 3rd. The no-bank, no-interest payment plan will remain available for all purchases.

Each season, Indy Pass caps the number of passes it sells to help preserve the independent, less-crowded nature of its member resorts.

“Last season’s pass was publicly on sale for around 30 days in total. This spring, we are down to a single day,” said Indy Pass Director Erik Mogensen. “There’s a rising demand for affordable, independent, and authentic ski experiences. We’ll continue to grow our passholder numbers carefully, with purpose before profit.”

Indy Pass is announcing the addition of ten new ski areas for the 26/27 season, including Whitecap Mountain Resort, WI; Paul Bunyan Ski Area, WI; Camp 10 Ski Area, WI; Coffee Mill Ski Area, MN; Domaine Skiable des Contamines, France; Pizol, Switzerland; Onikoube Ski Resort, Japan; Spirit Mounain (XC), MN; Carters XC Ski Center, ME; Fort Kent Outdoor Center (XC), ME; and passholder discounts to North Cascade Heli in Washington State.

“We’re serious about doubling down on access,” said Mogensen. “This second wave of additions for the 26/27 pass brings the total new options on the pass for the 26/27 season to 26. We will continue towards our 300+ goal with additional ski areas to be announced in the fall.

Passholder Renewal System

Indy Pass recently implemented a new renewal system, allowing returning passholders to auto-renew each year for a guaranteed pass at the lowest price. Those who don’t enroll will forfeit their renewal spot and pricing for the following year to members on the waitlist. Recently signed-up members of the waitlist will be granted purchase access by email.

300 Resort Guarantee

Passholders may request a refund before December 1, 2026, if the number of Indy Pass resort partners is less than 300 by November 1, 2026. A passholder can also request a refund for an unused pass by December 1, 2026, if their favorite resort from the 25/26 season does not renew for 26/27.

Payment Plan
The Payment Plan will be available for all pass purchases, making it more affordable for all. Indy’s Payment Plan continues to be offered at zero interest and with zero 3rd party banks (unlike the big guys) and offered in three payments, with the first due at the time of purchase.

Year-Round Skiing
Indy’s expansion into South America, Scandinavia, and Europe allows year-round ski opportunities for passholders, when conditions permit. The 26/27 Indy Pass provides ski access starting in June when Corralco, Chile intends to open for the season, followed by September with skiing in Austria at Pitztaler Gletscherbahn and Kaunertaler Gletscher.
