It’s no secret that this season has been an unfortunate one for ski areas across the Western United Sates, with several already closing early and several more closing in the coming days. Park City Mountain Resort isn’t done quite yet, but they have decided to close up shop at Mountain Village after this weekend.
Saturday, March 28th, will mark the last day of skiing and snowboarding on the Crescent and Payday lifts, bringing upper mountain operations to a close. Then on Sunday, Park City will spin the 3 Kings and First Time lifts for the last time this season, ending operations at Mountain Village. The Mountain Coaster will remain open at Mountain Village throughout next week though, if conditions allow.
The end of the season for Mountain Village doesn’t mark the end for Park City, as Canyons Village will remain open for as long as conditions allow.
15 of 43 lifts are currently spinning heading into the weekend with 30 of 349 trails open to skiing and snowboarding. Peaks and Beats run through this weekend, offering plenty of music around the mountain.
