Big Iron Chute snowmobiler survives massive fall

Revelstoke, Canada — Incredible video from the 2026 Big Iron Chute Out snowmobile gathering in Revelstoke B.C. where a rider not only survived but rode away after falling between 700-900 feet down the mountain.

Alberta snowmobiler, Taylor Hoffmann, miraculously only suffered a slightly crushed T7 vertebrae after tumbling down the mountain and free falling off a cliff on Gibbs Gash, first climbed by Paul Gibbs in 2008. Incredibly his snowmobile was somehow still functional enough for him ride off the mountain.

Here is a continuous video of the hill climb and fall.
