T-bars aren’t the easiest lifts to ride and plenty of people struggle their first few times riding it, but without further instruction it can stay pretty difficult. After opening the new Cirque T-Bar at Snowmass, staff began seeing lots of skiers and snowboarders failing to properly ride the lift. In response they’ve released this informative yet hilarious guide to riding a t-bar.
It’s great that the crew at Snowmass is ensuring all of their guests can safely and comfortably ride the lift, but it is pretty funny to see people struggling every once in a while.
The new Cirque T-Bar provides access to terrain from the High Pass to the High Alpine trails and Rocky Mountain high, in addition to the Cirque Headwall and beyond. The lift doubles the rider capacity when compared to the former platter lift, serving as the highest elevation lift across the Aspen Snowmass resort system. It serves expert terrain only, and conditions can be highly variable.
