The world's tallest, longest, and fastest roller coaster.

Six Flags in Saudi Arabia’s Qiddiya City is home to a handful of record-breaking rides, from the world’s tallest freestanding shot tower ride to the world’s tallest pendulum ride, but the most fascinating ride is the enormous Falcons Flight roller coaster that’s built into the side of a desert plateau.

Falcons Flight is the world’s longest, tallest, and fastest roller coaster, reaching a top speed of 155.3 mph, a height of 534.8 ft, and stretching to just under 2.7 miles long. It’s immense, and yet the ride still lasts just 3.26 minutes (that’s still a very long time for a roller coaster, though).

I’ve personally ridden a roller coaster built into the side of a mountain despite my general dislike of thrill rides, and it was a pretty wild experience. The Defiance Roller Coaster at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is quite the ride, and it’s much shorter and nowhere near as fast as this Six Flags coaster. Hanging over a natural mountain side, as you do on both of these rides, is pretty unbelievable, so I can hardly imagine what riding this ride is like.
