If you’ve ever been curious about the types of wildlife that live in the mountains of Colorado and what you might spot while skiing or snowboarding at one of many ski areas throughout the state, Loveland Ski Area has an awesome opportunity for you.
This Saturday, March 14th, Loveland will be hosting Ski with a Wildlife Officer alongside Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Simply head to the ski area on Saturday to get a few runs in alongside a Wildlife Officer, learning about the local Colorado wildlife while cruising around the mountain.
Those who join will be given the opportunity to spot animal tracks, learn how wildlife survives in harsh alpine winters, and listen to some great stories from the field while on the mountain. If you’re hoping to take part in this wicked cool opportunity, head to the Ptarmigan Roost Cabin at 12:45pm on Saturday.
