The last thing you want to see barreling toward you at a sled race/event is one of the sleds, especially if it’s built to look like the Bullet Bill character from Mario video games. And yet that’s exactly what happened at one ski resort in Japan’s Hokkaido prefecture.
It seems like at least a couple of people were hit by the sled, though the vehicle doesn’t appear to be a very solid structure. In fact, it looks like most of the body of the Bullet Bill was built out of cardboard, so hopefully nobody was injured in the incident.
This just serves as a reminder to always be ready to run if you’re at a sled race, especially if the sled is going straight toward you. Maybe people were thinking the Bullet Bill would turn last minute, but it does seem like there could have been a bit more movement from the crowd before the vehicle struck.
