We are creeping up on one week into the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, and things are looking good for Team USA. The country is currently third in the medal count with 3 golds, 5 silvers, and 2 bronze, sitting behind Switzerland with 4 golds, 1 silver, and 2 bronze, and Norway with 7 medals, 2 silvers, and 4 bronze. Of course the games are about the individual athletes as much as they are about the countries, so let’s have a look at who’s won each of the U.S.’s 10 medals so far.
3 Golds
- Breezy Johnson – Alpine Skiing, Women’s Downhill
- Elizabeth Lemley – Freestyle Skiing, Women’s Moguls
- United States Figure Skating Team (Ilia Malinin, Alysa Liu, Amber Glenn, Madison Chock, Evan Bates, Ellie Kam, and Danny O’Shea) – Figure Skating, Team Event
5 Silvers
- Ryan Cochran-Siegle – Alpine Skiing, Men’s Super-G
- Ben Ogden – Cross-County Skiing, Men’s Sprint Classic
- United States Curling Team (Cory Thiesse, Korey Dropkin) – Curling, Mixed Doubles
