Colorado — In honor of Powderhorn’s 60th anniversary, the Colorado ski resort is offering a great season pass deal.

Yesterday, Powderhorn Mountain Resort announced that it is offering a three-year season pass for only $999. Other perks to this pass include early lift access on select dates, a gathering with management, and a commemorative pass.

“For 60 years, Powderhorn has been a place people return to again and again—sometimes for generations,” said Ryan Schramm, the General Manager of Powderhorn Mountain Resort. “This 3-Year Pass is our way of saying thank you to the guests who call this mountain home, while also inviting them to be a part of what comes next. In addition to all the improvements we have made so far, the Wild West Express is a transformational investment, and our anniversary season felt like the right moment to connect the future of the mountain with the people who have supported it all along.”

This price point is available only on a limited basis and for a limited time. Once this initial tally is surpassed, it will increase to $1,199. Once the quota for that price point is reached, it will be taken off the market.

Next winter will see the debut of the Wild West Express chairlift. Originally situated at Aspen Snowmass, this high-speed chairlift will replace the West End chairlift. The current fixed-grip double chairlift is a slow ride, taking around 13 minutes.

About Powderhorn

Located near the city of Grand Junction, Powderhorn features 54 trails, 5 lifts, over 1,600 skiable acres, and a vertical drop of 1,650 feet. What makes it different from other Colorado ski resorts is its tiny home village, which allows guests to sleep slopeside. During the summer, Powderhorn offers hiking trails and lift-served mountain biking.

Powderhorn is a part of the Pacific Group Resorts portfolio, which includes Jay Peak in Vermont, Mt. Washington Alpine Resort in British Columbia, SilverStar in British Columbia, Wintergreen Resort in Virginia, and Wisp Resort in Maryland. They previously operated Ragged Mountain in New Hampshire, but it was sold to a group of longtime skiers late last year.
