If you’re looking for the best powder skiing in North America this week, you don’t need to look any further than Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Not only is the epic Kings and Queens of Corbet’s competition set to go down in the coming days, but the snow is currently coming down very heavy.

Based on the resort’s live snow stake camera, around 6 inches of new snow has fallen since its last clearing. The 6am snow report put the new snow at 2 inches, but there’s clearly been some good snowfall since then. The snow is nowhere near ending, either, with the snow expected to continue falling into the evening.
Today will be pretty sweet on the Jackson slopes, but tomorrow will likely be epic. According to the National Weather Service, the snow could continue tomorrow morning but the sun will likely begin to poke out at least by 11am. With light winds and fairly warm weather, Thursday could be an all-time day.
As of this morning, 109 of 130 trails are open at Jackson Hole, 46 of which are groomed (thought the new snow is likely changing that). Kings and Queens of Corbet’s could go down in the next few days, too, so don’t miss out on what will be an epic couple of days on the mountain.
