Jackson, Wyoming โ€” The best concert series out of any ski resort is at a surprising place. You wouldn’t think it would happen at Jackson’s hometown ski resort, but it’s where many big acts have appeared over the past few years.

Yesterday, Snow King Mountain announced its 2026 summer concert lineup. This year’s lineup is looking pretty stacked. Some of the big acts include The Black Keys, Trampled by Turtles, Shaggy (wasn’t me), Fitz and the Tantrums, Of Monsters and Men, and O.A.R with Gavin DeGraw and Lisa Loeb.

โ€œNo other venue combines this level of musical talent with breathtaking views, unique facilities, and a truly memorable arrival experience,โ€ said Ryan Stanley, the General Manager of Snow King. โ€œWith this yearโ€™s lineup spanning so many genres and generations, weโ€™re excited to offer a summer of epic live music that has something for everyone.โ€

Tickets will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. Mountain Time.

Adjustments

Debuted in 2022, this concert experience features guests transported to the top via gondola, where they experience the concert at around 8,000 feet above sea level.

The one issue they deal with is that most people take the gondola. After the concert ends, guests may have to wait more than an hour to get on the gondola. According to Buckrail, Snow King has added eight new gondola cabins to bring more passengers down after the concert concludes. A gondola fee has also been added, though it is less than a typical round-trip ticket.

Hiking down is also possible, but requires a headlamp and sturdy shoes. One workaround is to check out the new planetarium afterwards, then head down when the crowd shortens.

My hot take is that they should start bringing people down via zipline, which would be rad.
