While the situation in Austin, Texas is serious following a severe winter storm with thousands of residents still dealing with widespread power outages, this Austin man managed to have some fun in his neighborhood thanks to the persistent icy conditions.
Gordon Siegfriedt currently calls Austin home along with his wife Bekah but he hails from Evanston, Illinois where snow and ice are quite regular in the winter months. Rather than staying warm and cozy inside his home in the aftermath of the storm, Gordon decided to strap on his snowboard and go for a playful little gaunt down a street in North Austin.
While there is outdoor fun to be had as Austin thaws out, officials want to urge residents to stay off roadways unless absolutely necessary.
