Snowboarder Lands Directly On Ski Patrol Rescue Toboggan

Hectic sequence caught from the slopes of Blue Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania. What initially started as a routine ski patrol rescue of a skier injured after crashing in the terrain park was further complicated as second skier was injured off the same jump. The double ski patrol response quickly turned more chaotic as a snowboarder failed to see a rescue tobbogan in the landing area of the jump and ended up crashing directly into it.

Despite all the carnage, it appears the jump and landing area were not cordoned off immediately after the multiple crashes as skiers and snowboarders continued riding through the terrain park and hitting the jump.

The comment section of the Instagram video is ablaze with criticisms on how the situation was handled and we will let the video speak for itself but suffice to say if you see what looks like a potential medical situation on the mountain, do everything in your power not to further complicate it. Slow down and be respectful.
