Some grumpy guy in Hamburg, Germany was caught on camera destroying hundreds of tiny snowmen lovingly built on the railing of bridge. The footage was shared on social media and sparked online outrage. The video of the needless vandalism went viral garnering over 12,000 comments.
Somewhere in the outpouring of disgust of anonymous man’s behavior, someone suggested “Snowman Flash Mob” where Hamburgers (or Hamburgians in English) would gather en masse and rebuild the tiny snow sculptures to defeat the Scrooge with positivity.
“We’re not letting the fun take away and we’re just building twice as many new snowmen!”
More than 100 people showed up at noon and built the back the snowman parade twice as strong and a show of solidarity that will warm your heart. Lovely to see folks joining ranks to fight negativity with positivity. Danke Hamburg!
