The 2026 Freeride World Tour is set to kickoff this Thursday as athletes gear up for big lines against even bigger competition on the Tuc de Bacivèr face of Baqueira Beret Resort, Spain. This years tour features 10 US athletes, including rookies Joey Leonardo and Mia Jones. Ross Tester and Toby Rafford took first and second last year at the Baqueira Beret Pro in the Ski Men devision and return with hopes of repeating their standout performances.

The Tuc de Bacivèr face hasn’t hosted a competition since 2023 but with stable and soft conditions the tour returns for more. Livestream coverage will begin at 12 p.m. CET / 6 a.m. EST / 4 a.m. MST / 3 a.m. PST, with Snowboard Women being the first to drop. They will be followed by Snowboard Men, Ski Women, and finally Ski Men. Thursday should consist of safe and visible conditions on the west-facing venue; giving in-person and online watchers an optimal view of the worlds best ski/snowboard athletes throwing down big tricks, creative lines, and fluid runs.

Spanish mountain culture is known for its buzzing energy so the fun won’t stop after the comp. The event will last through the weekend with a full schedule outlined on the Freeride World Tour website. Attendees can expect ski movies, signing sessions with athletes, and more. The Junior FWT competition will also be held this weekend at Baqueira Beret as the world gets a taste for the next generation of athletes. This trip to Spain should be an energetic kickoff to the 2026 Freeride World Tour.
