Stoke Mountain indoor terrain park.
Stoke Mountain indoor terrain park.

Skiers and snowboarders in the Seattle area will soon be able to access proper terrain park features without even heading into the mountains, no matter the time of year, with the opening of Stoke Mountain in the Tukwila area. Stoke Mountain will feature the typical indoor ski park features, including several jumps, an air bag, trampolines, and alpine ski machines.

Beyond the typical features, Stoke Mountain has a full indoor rail yard, with different rails and boxes for different levels, all of which are built in sections so they can be moved and reorganized so the park never gets stale. It’s made on a snow alternative, so there’s plenty of movement and glide.

Additional amenities at the indoor terrain park will include a rental services, a pro shop, a retail store with proper boot fittings, and a cafe. Stoke Mountain is currently offering annual and monthly passes at a discount price, with the annual pass at $1,150 and the monthly membership at $95. Those prices will go up once the park actually opens (opening is currently set for late January) so act fast if you want in.
