Kyra the border collie is living a life many of us dream of, skiing throughout much of Europe with her owners. She’s been to Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, and beyond, all to ride chairlifts and hightail it down the slopes of some epic mountains.
It’s a pretty impressive sight, with Kyra’s owners picking her up just before the chairlift arrives. She sits quite calmly on the lift, waiting patiently for her time to book it down the trail.
This might give you inspiration to bring your dog skiing, but note that a lot of time and effort needs to be put into the training before you can do so. Dogs can get seriously injured, or worse, on the trail if they aren’t trained right or the owner isn’t acting right. Additionally, most ski resorts (at least in North America) won’t led you ride the chairlift with your dog, so don’t show up expecting it to be okay.
